This policy explains how Federal Contracting Services, LLC ("FCS," "we," "us") handles information collected through our website, fcs.consulting, through email correspondence with us, and through applications we operate that connect to third-party services such as LinkedIn.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. When you email us, apply for a position, or otherwise contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, resume and correspondence.
- Technical information. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to deliver and secure the site. This website does not use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics tools.
- Connected-service information. Our applications that connect to LinkedIn are used only by FCS personnel to manage FCS's own LinkedIn presence. When an FCS administrator authorizes such an application, it receives the access LinkedIn grants for that purpose, such as publishing posts to the FCS company page and reading the page's engagement statistics. We do not use these applications to collect data about other LinkedIn members.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and communicate about business opportunities.
- To evaluate candidates for employment, including positions contingent upon contract award.
- To publish and manage FCS content on our own social media accounts.
- To operate, maintain and secure our website and systems.
- To meet legal, regulatory and federal contracting obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only:
- With service providers that support our operations (for example, email hosting and website hosting), under their own privacy and security commitments.
- With teaming partners or government customers when you have asked us to submit your information, such as a resume included in a proposal.
- When required by law, regulation, subpoena or other legal process, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information you have provided to us by contacting us at the address below. FCS administrators may revoke a connected application's access at any time through the connected service's settings (for LinkedIn, under Settings & Privacy, Data Privacy, Permitted services).
Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date.
